welcome to a land of beauty through a lens
Reflections in a Mirrored Path
Fascinating, isn't it, life. A new bud creeping from the confines of it's spring bed. A small lamb skipping along behind its mother; the cry of a newborn kitten. These are all things most of us take for granted, and to be honest, how many of us actually stop to watch our surroundings; or take heed of the rustling on a moorland path.
Just Observe.
I fell in love with photography a long time ago. Browsing through family snapshots; laughing at old uncle Jim asleep in my fathers arm chair with a terry towel nappy on is head. All memories that made me laugh, or in some cases bring a tear to my eye. It was then that I realised I could create my own memories; images of places that I would never forget; images that changed with the seasons, with the light but never change their beauty. From a snapshot of my dog in the water with the biggest stick she ever saw! to a photograph of a life belt beside an old warehouse. All these pictures tell a story; and I shall leave you, the observer, to paint your own picture; decide what they mean to you.
