WW2 Re-Enactment Photography
Capturing a Realism
My photography has opened many doors for me. Far more than I could possibly imagine.
One of these is working for the Brixham Battery Museum, covering re-enactment events and trying to make them as realistic as possible. Not always an easy feat as 21st Century has a habit of raising it's ugly head in ways you could not imagine.
A Tesco carrier bag, or an empty can of coke does not lend itself to a WW2 shot. Many a time a good photograph has been ruined because a piece of rubbish or a telegraph pole has reared its ugly head without the photographer noticing.
